Steps on Pointing NS record to mechi.nitc.gov.np and koshi.nitc.gov.

and determining the webserver IP address of the desired domain name in
the Web Host Manager(WHM)

Log in to Web Host Manager.


Click on DNS Functions in the Main Menu.
Click on Edit DNS Zone.
Choose a desired domain name to edit form Choose a Zone to Edit.
Delete your NS from the Record type(which is next to SOA) and put mechi.nitc.gov.np.(Notice
this last dot. It should be there.)
Now, In the NS section below delete both your NS . Then,
Put mechi.nitc.gov.np.(Notice this last dot. It should be there.) in the first NS field.
Put koshi.nitc.gov.np.(Notice this last dot. It should be there.) in the second NS field.
Now, In the A record section you will see your webserver IP address for your desired domain
generated by your WHM.
Please confirm whether the IP address written there is the same IP address that you have
provided us for pointing in our DNS server.
If you see the different IP address in the A record section, please send us letter mentioning that
IP address to be pointed in our NS server because that is the IP address of your webserver for
your desired domain generated by your WHM.
You will also see A record pointing to localhost(127.0.0.1). Leave it as it is.
