MATH2201 Introduction To Mathematical Analysis Assignment 1

This document outlines an assignment for a mathematical analysis course. It contains 5 problems: 1) using a theorem to show an expression is not rational; 2) proving properties of bounded sets including that the infimum is less than or equal to the supremum; 3) proving properties when one set is a subset of another and when taking the union or supremum/infimum of two sets; 4) showing properties of sets where one set is bounded above and the other bounded below; and 5) proving properties of the supremum and infimum of the set of sums of elements from two bounded sets.
