A Simple Module for Intelligent DIP

ABSTRACT:Digital Image processing is a Field which will be ever growing and developing due to invention of
new Alogrithms and Techniques along with time. The Requirements for the World based on Image
analysis also changes with Technology. In this 21st century we are experiencing a modern era of
scientific knowledge and security. We Encounter DIP in every day processes starting from the
BioMetric used in finger prints to the Face recognition passwords in our Laptops. Many of the
Automatic Decision making Robotic Automobiles have also been created with the processor as the
driver of the vehicle , and the decisions for manuvering the vehicle is done by a combination of the
GIS,GPS and the DIP. In such an era which has innumerable applications for such Processing of the
images my objective is to try and develop a simple and understandable API (application
programming interface) for such DIP applications. It would help a lot of people who have know
knowledge of the internal working of DIP for developing such applications. They would just use
function modules provided by the API and develop an application for their purpose.
With such API , as an example I will be building a prototype Digital image processing software in
JAVA which would include all the major tasks required in modern applications. If we go ahead we are
also planning to provide these API as an open source project so that the Project would be developed
by a large number of people across the world. Image analysis would then be a work of minutes easily
understood.
