STANDARD OPERATION PROCEDURES (S.O.

P)
FOR MILLING MACHINE
CHECK THE MACHINE
Check the machine to see if it is in good running order and properly
lubricated, and that it moves freely.

SELECTING THE CUTTER


Select a lathe cutter of larger diameter than is necessary.

MOUNTING THE CUTTER AND TOOL HOLDER


Place the cutter on the tool holder as near the end of the

Workpieces must be mounted properly and securely.
Use the
milling
vise
or another clamping devices that suitable with the workpiece. Feed the
workpiece in a direction opposite the rotation of the milling cutter.

SETUP THE START LEVER AND SPINDLE SPEED


The starting lever and table control lever should all be in
neutral and spindle speed control should be set to the
required speed.
START THE SPINDLE AND CUTTING FLUID PUMP
To actuate spindle, turn on the main power first. Start
the main motor and cutting fluid pump.

STOP THE SPINDLE


To stop the rotation, press the spindle stop button. Press
the Emergency Stop Button only in case of emergency.
