While in college, she has worked as a staffer and writer for The Daily Texan campus newspaper since 2014. She has also held volunteer and assistant roles for various Austin organizations such as JDW Cotillion, Euphoria ATX Club, Fun Fun Fun Fest, and Austin Film Festival. In high school, she was involved with the Spanish National Honor Society and served as president of the Spanish Club. She received academic honors including National Hispanic Scholar and AP Scholar.
