Activity Preface
These tasks are performed whenever Toad for Oracle is needed on a computer

OM Support Analyst
1.

Download Toad from Oracle ERP Systems - Installation Media

If You can not access the above location, you can download directly from Quest Software,
goto task #3. Otherwise, goto task #7.

Log in to Quest Support Website:

If you are a new user, register yourself with Starbucks site id, which is 1+XA+1266

4.

Select Downloads & Updates from the left side of the screen.

5.

Select the product to install;


Product Family: Toad
Product: Toad for Oracle
Version: Select highest number available
Select Software from the Category field.

Click FTP or HTTP to download ToadOracleInstallXX.exe (Do not install Toad version 10.x
for 11.5.9 version of oracle.) Go with 9.7.x

7.

Click Open when prompted to download and install. Follow all prompts to install.
Use the license key 3-47131-02626-19490-48123 with site message Starbuck (only capital
S, no s at the end) when prompted.

8.

Open Control Panel and select Add or Remove Programs

9.

Insure that Oracle Client is installed.


If it is not, select Add New Programs, scroll down to Oracle Client Setup and Install to your
machine.
Work with your manager to request access to Oracle databases. An email with your
username and password will be emailed to you.
