Form of the system of equations
The matrix form of the system of equations is presented next. The selected number of nodes for this
example was N = 20.
A t + d = 0.
(6)
Where, A is the matrix of coefficients, t is the vector of uknown temperatures, and d is the vector of
independent coefficients.

The results obtained during this exercise agree with the steady state conduction problem. It can be
seen that the final form of the system of equations resembles the equation of a inclined line which is
in agreement with the temperature variation from a high temperature source to a lower temeprature
sector.
