Components of Lesson Plan Based on 2013 Curriculum

1. School Identity (the name of educational unit)

4. Topic / Theme (theme only available on elementary level)
5. Time Allocation
6. Core competencies
Core competencies is a general description of competencies which are includes;
attitude (spiritual attitude and social attitude), knowledge, and skills, in which, those
should be learned by learner in a different school level and subjects
7. Basic competencies
Basic competencies is a specific description from core competencies (attitude,
knowledge and skill). Core competence and basic competence should be relevant.
This is related to what to teach, and provide the students with an appropriate material.
8. Indicator
Indicator is a measure organically (observed behavior) which aimed to know certain
basic competence achievement and used as assessment in a subject.
9. Learning Objectives
Learning Objectives is a description of process and learning output which is expected
to be achieved by the learner based on the basic competence.
10. Learning Materials
Learning materials are provides several concepts, principe, and relevant procedure
based on the indicator.
11. Learning Method
Learning method is used by the teacher to create a good learning atmosphere and
learning activity, so then the learner can achieve the basic competence or indicator.
12. Learning activity
Learning activity consist of several activity, such as:
a) Introduction (Pre Activity)
Introduction is a first activity to raise the learners motivation and focus the
learner to actively participate in the learning process
b) Core (Whilst Activity)

Whilst activity is a learning process to reach the basic competence or indicator.


Learning activities performed through scientific process (observing, questioning,
associating, experimenting, and networking.
c) Closing (Post Activity)
Post Activity performed to close the learning process which can be done by giving
conclusion, reflection and feedback.
13. Learning Media and Learning Resources
Learning media is a learning aids to support the learning material, and learning
resource includes books, prints, and electronic media
14. Learning Evaluation
Learning evaluation consist of assessment instruments and learning output which
adapted from the indicator.
