Morale of employees is increased
Transfer has a benefit to shifting workforce from the surplus
dept. to those where there is shortage of staf
Cheaper source
Saves time

Drawbacks of internal sources

No fresh talent or new idea in org.


Employees become lethargic
Limited choice
In case of expansion need more staf
Not suitable for new org.
