Here are a few things you can try.
1. Please check the user's program associations to make sure that everything is correct. There should
not be any user associations defined, only Global assocations.
2. Manually enabling Integration via the Office GUI. The add-ins can be enabled in the options of the
application you are using.
For example, Word:
Word Options-Add-ins- Manage COM Add-ins- Go
Select the check box next to ProjectWise iDesktop Integration
3. Delete the regsitry key for DisabledItems
For Example of MS Word: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Resiliency\DisabledItems
If that does not resolve this issue, please let me know the full verion number of ProjectWise
(08.11.xx.xx) and also the version of Micosoft Office (2003,2007,2010)
Last Error 58218. Error copying document. The
checkout location is already in use.
Preliminary steps
1.
Have the users whose entries you will be deleting check all files in.
2.
Purge their working directories via the local document organizer.
3.
Log out of the system.
4.
Have the users delete their working directories.
Steps to run the CHKLCLEANUP.EXE
1.
On a system that has the ProjectWise Administrator installed, Open Windows Explorer and
navigate to C:\Program Files\Bentley\ProjectWise\bin
2.
Double click the CHKLCLEANUP.EXE
3.
Click next on the welcome screen
4.
You are then prompted to choose and log into a datasource.
5.
The next screen gives you the choice to remove copy out locations by username or by
machine name
6.
If you check user name the next screen lists all the users in the datasource. Check the names
you wish to remove the copy out entries for.
a.
There is an option to export the list to a cvs file. This option gives the User Name, User
Description, and Document Count, in a comma delimited file.
b.
Another option on this page is explained as follows: Some DMS_CHKL location records may
be left over after removing users, use this option to remove these orphan rows.
7.
If you checked Machine name, the next screen lists all the machines listed in the dms_chkl
table in the datasource that have files copied out. Check the machine names you wish to remove
the copy out entries for.
a.
There is an option to export the list to a cvs file. This option gives the Machine Name and
Document Count in a comma delimited file.
8.
On the next screen you are given a summary of your choices and asked to confirm that you
want to delete the copy out location entries.
9.
The final screen will give a message that the wizard has succeeded and a report of how many
entries were deleted.
10. Bentley Recommends to have unique working directories for each user. Create a new unique
working directory for the user via the PW administrator.
11. Allow the user to log back into the system and make sure the new working directory was
created correctly.
Como crear un SET.
Dentro del ProjectWise seleccionar la carpeta en donde se quiere guardar el SET
Ejemplo: DWG e ir arriba al toolbar:
Document\Set
Se le coloca el nombre y descripcion del SET, luego se arrastran los documentos
deseados en ese SET, no importa de que carpeta sean, pueden tomarse
documentos de diferentes disciplinas. Los SETs pueden ser eliminados sin temor a
perder el archivo ya que este se encuentra en su carpeta de origen, el SET es solo
un enlace rapido al documento.
Cuando PEMEX reporte el error: error checking out a file of document the
gateway server failed to connect to the remote endpoint
Entrar a VMDF y reiniciar maquina virtual, si no funciona, intentar lo siguiente,
(Agregar a la tabla de ruteo)
En vmdf, abrir la maquina virtual del gateway PWGWDF y tirar un ping extendido a
sapnemty si no responde el ping, abrir otra ventana y ejecutar el siguiente
comando:
Route add 192.168.144.0 mask 255.255.255.0 192.168.10.1 metric 1
Despues, revisar que el ping extendido este respondiendo,
Por ultimo, hacer la prueba abriendo un archivo.
Cuando el ProjectWise no este disponible via web,
Ir a: PWFWNAE y reiniciar el IIS desde la consola de ISS
Si el problema continua, desde el mismo server reiniciar el ISS desde comando o
servicio como: iisreset
