The inspection report identified several deficiencies with the street light poles in Rawalakot. The poles were not fabricated by an approved manufacturer and lacked manufacturer name plates. Both the surface and internal galvanization was of poor quality, resulting in rusting. Some poles had silver paint applied instead of proper galvanization. The junction boxes were not securely locked as the drawings lacked detail. Welds were incomplete and dimensions were incorrect. Butt welds were used instead of penetration welds. There was no provision for light attachment.
