Electronic Exercises

This document contains exam problems from an Electronics course at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. The first problem asks students to find the transfer function of a circuit and determine its pole frequencies. The second problem involves analyzing the temporal behavior of input and output signals for a bistable op-amp circuit driven by a square wave. Students are asked to sketch the relevant waveforms and demonstrate the bistable transfer function.

The input signal is a symmetric square wave {50o/o duty cycle), with 50 Hz frequency, with 2,5 V peakto-peak
value and an average value (DC offset) of 2,5 V.

1. Sketch the temporal shape of Vs {vottage versus time), clearly

marking the relevant time and voltages

in the signal.

2.

Sketch the temporal shape of V- (Op Amp inverting i*put). clearly marking the relevant time and

voltages in the signal.

3.

Demonstrate the bistable behaviour of the Op Amp, drawing the Transfer Function (
