This document provides a procedure for connecting an RFID reader from Pepperl+Fuchs to an interface module from Beckhoff using an EtherCAT coupler and Ethernet cable. The connections are made between the RFID head and interface module, and an Ethernet cable is used to connect the PC or PLC to the EtherCAT coupler.

Procedure for communication between RFID of Pepperl+Fuchs (IQT-F116-R4M-V1) & interface

module EL6021 of Beckhoff(Here we have used 1 EtherCAT coupler EK1100 & 1 interface
module EL6021).
1. Make the connections between RFID head & EL6021 as below. Use ethernet cable between
PC & EtherCAT coupler EK1100(or PLC).
