STANDARD PHRASEOLOGY {ROOM SERVICE FOOD DELEVERY}.
• Room service (ring the bell).
• Good morning/evening Mr. Smith. • May I come in. • Mr. Smith were would you like me to place your tray / trolley • Sir yours order for (name the dish). • Is there any thing I can get for you? • Your check sir. • Kindly call for clearance upon completion of your meal.
SERVICE SEQUENCE {RESTAURANT}
• Meet the guest. • Greet the guest according to the day of the time. • Assist the guest to the table. • Pull the chair & make them sit comfortably. • Ask for the choice of regular or mineral water bottle. • Serve the water & offer the drink and food menu. • After 5 min take down the order for beverage and food. • Mention the delivery time of order to the guest. • Serve the drinks first (if any). • Mention the dish name while servicing to each guest on table. • Present the check to the guest. • Greet them again while they leave the restaurant.
GROOMING & HYGINE STANDARDS
• Staff should take bath regularly before reporting his or her shift. • Need to shave everyday. • Hair and nail should be cut & trimmed properly. • Light deodorant should be used to avoid body odor. • Well polished black shoes. • Should wear only black socks with shoes. • Should wear only white shirt with black bow or black tie and black trouser (for male). • White shirt with black tie and black trouser and black shoes (for female). .
