Ted Harrison

Ted Harrison is a Canadian artist born in England in 1926 who is known for his colorful paintings of the Yukon territory. After moving to Canada, he taught in the Yukon for many years. He has since retired to Victoria but continues to paint scenes depicting the landscapes and wildlife of northern Canada using bright colors and simplified shapes. in the land of the moose.

his new surroundings.

Aurora borealis

Aurora can be seen from October through March. This yellow

shimmering colour is quite common and frequently "runs" or moves


backwards or forwards across the sky. Sometimes the Aurora borealis
(Northern Lights) are different colours.
