Connect a console cable from the Switch port to the desktop COM port. Run Hyperterminal on the desktop and configure it with a baud rate of 9600, 8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, and no flow control. Connect to the Switch and log in. To copy the output of the "show tech all" command to a text file, use Hyperterminal's capture text feature to start and stop copying output to a specified file path. Alternatively, configure Putty's logging feature to automatically save all session output to a specified file when connecting and running the command.
