Handscape Lesson Plan

The art lesson taught students how to draw realistic hands through a series of steps. The teacher introduced the project using an example from artist M.C. Escher and demonstrated drawing hand shapes and proportions. Students then practiced drawing hands on their own, with the teacher providing feedback and guidance. The next class will have students adding landscape backgrounds to their hand drawings. Accommodations were available for students who needed extra time or modified assignments.
