The document describes a problem modeling hydrate formation in a natural gas feed using HYSYS. The feed composition and operating conditions are provided. Without TEG injection, the hydrate formation temperature calculated in HYSYS is 16.3°C. TEG was then added at various flow rates to reduce the hydrate formation temperature. The results show the outlet hydrate temperature decreases as TEG flow rate increases, reaching -10.659°C with a TEG flow of 6 kg/hr. The document asks how to model this type of problem, involving TEG injection to inhibit hydrate formation, in HYSYS.

Operatng Conditions:

For the Above mentioned Condition I used to Calculate Hydrate Formation Temperature by Hysys
which is 16.3deg Celcius.

Then I tried to use TEG with concentration of 80% to reduce the Hydrate formation temperature, I got
the following Results for the same flow rate of Natural Gas Feed:

S.No

Can anyone able to tell how to model this kind of problem in Hysys?
