WHY NEBRASKA UNIVERSITY?

Let me tell you something about Omaha first:


Omaha is a city in the state of Nebraska which has more number of African
Americans. Omaha is a place with well deserved reputation for its hospitality. It
has various museums and many other places such as:

Joslyn castle
Omaha civic auditorium for musical acts, etc.

for the visitors to look at and enjoy. The weather at Omaha is very cold and its
mostly cloudy, temperature there is approximately 1C,with a variation of +-2C. It
is the only city having a public university in the state of Nebraska ,which is the
Nebraska University.
Now ,coming to the university:
The Nebraska University has already completed its 100 th anniversary in the year
2008. It has a renowned name both in academics and in extracurricular
activities. It has won many prizes in various games such as:

Basket ball
Ice hockey
Swimming and diving

It also offers versatile courses which enable the students to study whatever they
like to. Their Motto is: Connect-Collaborate-Create ,this motto inherently tells us
there wish to connect and collaborate with us inorder to create a better future
for both of us.
If given a chance, I would like to represent my university and my country in this
summer emersion program and prove that we are no less. I would also like to
gain awareness and have an exposure regarding the educational patterns in
such an old university which will therein help me in developing my wholesome
personality. This is why I would love to visit the ancient Nebraska University.
