DESCRIPTION

Foster Rosenblatt is looking for an Analyst/Programmer to assist in Excel modelling and


VBA programming, in accordance with the project specifications and time frame.
Reports to Senior Director; 20+ hours per week for a contract or co-op position of 4-6
months, with the possibility of full-time employment.
Main duties:
Implement the technical solution and perform the analysis
Make recommendations to the Senior Director for process and specification
improvement
Responsible for the majority of VBA coding and programming within parameters
Quality control; testing, debugging and documenting steps and procedures
Drafting technical instructions and user guide
Providing technical support and maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

A college diploma or bachelor's degree in related field (e.g. computer science, business,
engineering) is recommended.
Skills & Qualifications:
Advanced Excel skills that include:
oAdvanced formulas (e.g. offset, index, nested formulas, etc)
oForm controls and user forms
oData analysis tools (e.g. data tables, scenario management)
Experience with VBA programming is required
Knowledge of Crystal Ball (or other Monte Carlo simulation tool) is an asset
Familiarity with development methodologies
Understand business processes
Be proficient in database, reporting tools, programming and modelling
Detail oriented, fast learner, self-sufficient, able to work on high-stress situations
Analytical thinking and problem-solving
