cornerlettinginthesoftmoonlight.Twoyoungmenwalkinaboutthesameheighttheyscanthe
loungeafewtimesthengotothebar.TheyturnandseeMatthewsittingonthecouchalone.The
mensmileinvitinglythenstarttoadvancesteadilytowardshim.

MAN1:
HesitsdownononesideofMatthewandhisfriendontheotherside.HelooksatMatthewthen
athisfriendandsmilesslyly.Hey

MATTHEW:
Heglancesatthemquicklythenathisbeer.Hey.Hishandshakesalittle.

hasstatedthatAaronandRussellhadintendedtorobShepardbutnotkillhim.Itisnowtimefor
theclosingstatementfromtheprosecutorandeveryoneissilent.

PROSECUTOR:
LadiesandGentlemenofthecourtAaronMcKinneyandRussellHendersonhavebrutally
harassedandbeatenmyclientssonMatthewSheparduntilhedied.Theytiedhimtoafenceto

Topeka,Kansasistheheighteningofthescandal.Heisaveragelookingfora50yearoldman.
Hehaswhitehairandisvisiblyshorthisvoiceisloud,assertive,andaggressive.Mostofthe
