Concrete Flow Test

The document describes the steps of a flow table test used to determine the consistency and flow value of fresh concrete. It lists the names of six students and their student IDs. It then outlines the seven steps of the test, which involves placing fresh concrete in an Abrams cone on a wetted flow table, tamping it, lifting the cone, and dropping and measuring the diameter of the spread concrete. It also provides additional context about factors that affect concrete density such as aggregates, entrained air, and hydration over time.

Wait for 30 seconds.
Lift up the cone to allow concrete to flow.
Lift up the flow table until it meets the stop,
drop down for 15 times.
Diameter of concrete is measured.

In theory, provided the concrete is

Assuming an increase in cement content for
no increase in water demand, the water
cement ratio will decrease.
