The line graph shows the frequency polygon of scores based on 40 item examination in
Science conducted to Grade 3 students in West City Central School. Based from the results, it
shows that the mean of the scores was 24.80, which means that the average was above the
average and passing score 20 which asserts to have a satisfactorily performance of the students.
Secondly, the median of the results was 20.5 which resulted if arranged from ascending order to
be 26. This implies that the half of the number of test scores have values that are greater than the
half of the values that are less. Lastly, the mode was 26 which means that the score which occur
the most number of times was this score in the 40 students who took the test.
KURTOSIS: Leptokurtic This is the statistical distribution where the points along the X-axis are
clustered, resulting in a higher peak (higher kurtosis) than the curvature found in a normal distribution.

It displays a positive value of excess kurtosis, or sharpness of the peak of the graph of the
distribution.
