Aging Profile 2010 Dsaapd

This document profiles older Delawareans using 2010 Census data. It finds that over 180,000 Delaware residents, or 17% of the state's population, were aged 60 or older. The majority were aged 65-74, white, female, living in New Castle County, married, living with others, born in the US, and spoke English at home. Over a quarter of older residents had a disability, over 70% were not in the labor force, and nearly a quarter were veterans.
