    General feedback/class needs:


    Overall this was a good effort by everyone in the class with most of you achieving at least a C grade
    which is exactly where we need to be right now well done to you all.
    The focus for all of you should be on the last 3 questions in the paper these were not multiple
    choice and therefore required some technique and thought to get right. Pay close attention to your
    marks for these questions and investigate where you went wrong.
    Most of you could clearly answer the multiple choice questions to identify the various input and
    output devices. Be careful, though, you should be aiming for 100% on these questions have you
    ever seen a touch pad with a lid, for example? No, it was a scanner!! So check the pictures carefully
    and THINK about your answer.
    The only problem that affected a lot of people was to tell the difference between a dot matrix/Laser
    printer and a plotter. This is essential knowledge and the websites you used contained pictures so
    this shouldnt have been new to you.

    Read the question and look at the pictures very carefully several times.

    You will have been allocated an exam question to further your knowledge or help you to overcome a
    misconception. Copy out the question here in full and answer it.

    Data is more difficult to copy which gives extra safety and security with having a PIN number. If card was
    stolen, it cant be used unless the thief knows your PIN. Large amounts of data can be stored on them.
    Disabled people especially would find it easier than signing. It would save time at shops and theyre not
    affected by magnetic fields.
