    General feedback/class needs:


    Overall this was a good effort by everyone in the class with most of you achieving at least a C grade
    which is exactly where we need to be right now well done to you all.
    The focus for all of you should be on the last 3 questions in the paper these were not multiple
    choice and therefore required some technique and thought to get right. Pay close attention to your
    marks for these questions and investigate where you went wrong.
    Most of you could clearly answer the multiple choice questions to identify the various input and
    output devices. Be careful, though, you should be aiming for 100% on these questions have you
    ever seen a touch pad with a lid, for example? No, it was a scanner!! So check the pictures carefully
    and THINK about your answer.
    The only problem that affected a lot of people was to tell the difference between a dot matrix/Laser
    printer and a plotter. This is essential knowledge and the websites you used contained pictures so
    this shouldnt have been new to you.
    Your personal targets:
    1. To learn the definition of optical storage and be able to give examples of media.
    2. To make sure I dont use single words for big mark questions.
    3. To check through my paper, checking all answers and ensuring no questions have been
    missed.

    Data is more difficult to copy. You have an extra layer of security with a pin number.
    Even if the card is stolen the thief cant use it unless they know the pin.
    Large amounts of data can be stored.
    Saves time at checkouts.
