As per norms of WBUT we are to develop a project in the 4th year of our studies. We , students of
Mechanical Engg , 4th year want to develop a CAD model of Manual Rack & pinion steering used in light
weight vehicles and do Stress analysis of the components used. As per current development of our
project we will be able to submit the following:
Before 7th Semester: CAD MODEL OF MANUAL RACK & PINION STEERING IN PRO-E & PROJECT
LITERATURE.
BEFOR 8TH SEMESTER: STRESS ANALYSIS OF THE COMPONENTS IN OUR MODEL IN CATIA .
