The customer is provided with one more


channel for Cheque Book Request. He need
not go to the branch.
Cheque book requested through ATM will be
delivered at the residential address of the
customer.
Normally Cheque book may be delivered
within 8 to 10 days.

Cheque Book Issue Request is made available


to all SBI customers through ATM.
The customers should ensure that the correct
/ latest residential address is registered at the
branch.
The facility is available only online.
The charges will be as applicable to normal
cheque book charges in CBS. No charge for
ATM transaction.

SBI customer will insert card in to ATM.


Customer will select SERVICES from Main Menu.
Customer will enter PIN.
Customer will select Cheque Book Request.
Message The cheque book will be delivered at the
Residential address registered at the Branch will
be displayed. Customer is required to confirm.
If customer confirms, the transaction will proceed
else it is cancelled.
Customer selects Type of Cheque Book Order or
Bearer.

Customer selects number of cheque leaves 25/


50/100.
Customer select account type Savings / Current.
If more than one account are linked to the card, the
account numbers will be displayed for selection by
the customer.
Customer need not select if only one account is
linked to the card.
The cheque book request will be sent to CBS for
processing.
Suitable message Request for Cheque Book is
registered will be printed on the transaction receipt
on successful response from CBS.

CBS will check for necessary validation for


LCPC link.
If mapped with LCPC, the request will be sent
to respective LCLC.
If the Branch is non-LCPC, the request will be
sent to account home Branch for processing.
The cheque book will be delivered at the
residential address available at branch.
