MIND MAP OF NAMES AND DIFFERENT FONTS AND


COLOURS THAT WILL BE USED.

RAVE
Rave is also a
good name for
a music
magazine as
dance music
is what is
stereotypically
heard at a
rave.

DJ- DJ is a good name for

a dance
music magazine as there are many
different DJs within the music
industry that focus mainly on dance
and house music

HOUSE I think house is a


good name for the magazine
because it is simple and straight
away shows the genre of music.
Although if the font isnt correct it
could be mistaken for a magazine

DIFFERENT CHOICES
OF NAMES FOR MY
MAGAZINE

REMIX -

I
think this is a
good name for
a dance music
magazine as a
lot of dance
music songs
are remixes of
normal pop
songs.

CLUBHOUSE

This is also a good name for


a dance music magazine as
you hear dance/house
music when you are out
clubbing which relates to the
name Clubhouse because
in a club they hear house
music.

FONTS
I have chosen to use Remix as an example
when I use the fonts to show what the font
will look like when it is on my magazine.
This font is called Android and I have
chosen this because it looks very techno
and looks like it could be the masthead on
a dance music magazine. This is because it
is techno and that is what dance music
sounds like.

I have also chosen this font as I think it looks like the


kind of font that you would see with something
related to dance music for example a poster
advertising a dance music event or the masthead on
a festival ticket. This is because the font is curly
shaped but looks modern at the same time.

This is another font that looks modern and as if it


would be on something that related to dance
music for example the x is curly and looks as if it is
made for some sort of poster or advertisement.

COLOURS
The colours that I will use in
the masthead and use on
the cover will be electric,
bright colours as these
relate to the target audience
and the colours are
stereotypically related to
dance music for example
the colours of the lights at a
night club or festival.
