To whom it may concern,

It is with great pleasure that I provide a letter of reference for Jennifer Fetaz. I have
known Jennifer for five years as a High School athlete and a University student-athlete.
I am Duncan Margach, a retired teacher of 32 years with the Calgary Board of
Education, and a track and field coach with the University of Calgary since 2005.
Jennifer Fetaz in an outstanding young woman with excellent academic and athletic
performances. She is an engaged citizen, with an impressive volunteer resume dealing
with young athletes. Jennifer was a high performance track and field athlete, balancing
long hours of workouts with university academic loads. With personal qualities of
dedication, desire, sportsmanship, and determination, Jennifer was able to pursue
excellence on and off the track.
Jennifer was a Nationally ranked track and field athlete in Canada, and accepted a
scholarship at Northern Arizona University. During 2010 and 2012 Jennifer was ranked
1st or 2nd in Alberta, and 3rd or 4th in Canada, in long jump and high jump. Her
commitment to sport was incredible, often traveling long distances to excel in both
training and competition.
Jennifer has volunteered extensive hours organizing, administrating, and teaching long
jump and high jump to students from Elementary to High School ages. Giving back to
her sport that gave her so much is a sign of a mature athlete. I have seen other high
performance athletes do the same thing.
Jennifers personal traits will make her an outstanding teacher. Her time management
skills, willingness to put in the time needed to complete the task, and organizational
qualities are excellent. Jennifer easily works with others, both adults and children. She
engages others to participate and handles conflict with confidence and empathy.
Jennifer Fetaz is an excellent candidate for the teaching profession. Her background
experiences in athletics, academics, and leadership provide the perfect base for
Jennifer to pursue her passion for teaching.
Sincerely,

Duncan Margach
