Younique Products Style & Brand Usage Guidelines
Preferred Logo Usage
Preferred Logo & Mark
This is the main Younique logo in its text + mark form. It is preferred that
this version of the logo be used above all others. The logo variations
found on the following pages are for circumstances where the preferred
logo will not work visually.

Acceptable Uses of the Younique Logo
The following examples are the only acceptable alternative uses of the Younique
logo outside of the Preferred Logo Usage specification.
Monochrome Logo
It is acceptable to use the Younique logo in pure black.
Text-Only Logo
It is acceptable to use the Younique logo without the mark;
however, it must always be used as an image. Never attempt
to re-create the Younique logo yourself. Only logo image files
approved by Younique Corporate may be used.
Reversed Logo
When using the logo on top of a dark background, the logo
must be in all white. Only approved Younique colors can be
used with the logo.
Mark Only
It is acceptable to use the Younique mark by itself. However,
when used in this way, the text portion of the Younique logo
must be visible somewhere else in the design. Both the text
and the mark must then be spaced at an appropriate distance
from eachother so that the usage still falls within the branding
guidelines (see Unacceptable Logo Usage section for
examples).

Unacceptable Logo Usage
The following examples are to be avoided, with no acception. Using the Younique
logo in any way other than those listed in the Preferred or Acceptable Alternative
Logos section of this document is absolutely prohibited.
Distorting, skewing, or disproportionate re-sizing
If the logo must be re-sized, care must be taken to constrain
the dimensions so that the logo does not become distorted.
Rotation
The logo must never be rotated or placed at an angle.
Text on top of the mark
The Younique text must never be placed above the mark.
Altering the alignment of the text and mark
Never re-position the alignment or placement of the mark or
the text. Never change the distance between the text and the
mark.
Using colors not listed in the Style Guide
Never change the color of the Younique logo. Use only logo
image files that have been provided by Younique Corporate.
Horizontal orientation
The Younique text must never be placed in a horizontal
configuration with the mark.
The addition of special effects
Never add any kind of drop shadows, glows, strokes, or any
kind of other special effect to the Younique logo.

The Younique Color Palette
Using colors not listed in the Style Guide, or otherwise approved by Younique
Corporate, is not permitted. Do not use a color picker tool to copy the colors from
this document into your computer. Always manually type the RGB, CMYK, or HEX
values into your application to ensure the correct colors are being used.

Younique Typography Usage
Below are the ways in which each the Younique Font Palette is used in print and
digital media.
Odette Regular
Never use Odette for anything other
than headline and sub-heading text. It
should not be used for large bodies of
reading text.

Younique Typography Rules
Please keep these general rules in mind whenever designing something that is
representing the Younique brand.

Always keep the number of fonts used in a design to
the absolute minimum. 1 font for very little text is
good. 2 fonts is generally best. 3 fonts should be the
maximum.
Use only fonts approved by Younique Corporate. If
you are having trouble finding the fonts listed in this
document, please contact Younique Corporate.

Typography Usage in PicMonkey
PicMonkey.com is a popular free photo editing app. It does not allow the use
of custom fonts, so a user will be limited to PicMonkeys fonts. The following
PicMonkey fonts have been selected by Younique Corporate as acceptable for use
with the Younique brand, only when using this application.
