Hand Signals

Hand signals can be an effective classroom management tool. The author Jessica Travis created posters with hand signals to help non-verbally communicate with students things like when to be quiet, pay attention, or line up. These posters allow the teacher to guide student behavior without having to constantly verbally redirect them.
