The key takeaways are to help students understand the importance and meaning of the Eucharist through relating it to their personal experiences and the Last Supper.

The purpose of the Eucharist lessons is to help students understand how Jesus nourished people's physical and spiritual needs and how his actions at the Last Supper symbolized his gift of himself.

The lessons help students understand the Last Supper by having them recall prior knowledge, explore the events through activities like drama and art, and consider the disciples' perspectives.
