Changing over time

Read the directions below and follow them!


Step 1 Think of a make believe animal/organism/alien from this or another
world
Step 2- Draw that animal/organism/alien in full color and the drawing has to
be at least as big as your hand
Step 3- Name your animal/organism/alien and describe its environment. Tell
me the following: height, weight, what it eats and more. Is it hairy? Is it a
carnivore? Is it nocturnal? You should use at least 150 words or 3
paragraphs.
Step 4 Use some change over 50,000 years such as temperature, change
in diet, change in its habitat, change in its prey, more moisture (rain, snow)
or any reasonable change. Be specific! List the change and use your
imagination.
Step 5- Redraw your animal/alien/organism after 50,000 years and draw it
with at least 2 adaptations. List the adaptations and tell me why the
animal/alien/organism changed. Was it a change in DNA? Was it natural
selection? Both? Be specific, and make the change logical and as a direct
result the change in the animals/alien/organisms environment.
If you want an A, following the directions and do not give less
than what is asked.
