UnLock MapSource

This document provides instructions for unlocking MapSource and FAMILY directories using the "UnLock MapSource.exe" tool. It lists the file paths where the MapSource directories can be found for different Windows operating systems and notes that right clicking and running as administrator may be needed if there are issues running the EXE file. Copy "UnLock MapSource.exe" in .gmap directory and run...
If you have problem to run EXE file "[B]Right click and Run As Administrator"

OR
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps\*.gmap\
Vista/7
%APPDATA%\GARMIN\Maps\*.gmap\
OR
%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GARMIN\Maps\*.gmap\
(or something like that all other languages)
Or any other GMAP Directory
