I chose these fonts for my Masthead and

title for my music magazine because the

connotation of Punk/Rock music (My music
magazines genre) is often that of a grunge
horror, splattered effects and fire and
blood, these fonts suit that connotation. I
chose a range of fonts from sans serif, serif
and block serif, while maintaining the
design connotation, as this allows for a
greater range of fonts to be played with
when constructing my magazine.
These social media
and music websites
are widely used by my
targeted audience
(14-18 year olds).
These could therefore
be used as an online
format for the
magazine
These images of bands and artists are denotations,
physical entities of the Punk/Rock music genre and
are some of the largest icons in the genre itself. It
would be sensible to reference them when
constructing my music magazine
The clothes surrounding are
connotations of the music genre.
Skinny jeans, band t-shirts and
other merchandise are not
denotations because it is not a
fixed concept to the genre. People
other than the genres fans dress
similarly to this. However, this has
inspired the clothing of my model
when it comes to the photo shoot
for the Fc,, DPS and CP
These images all represent my targeted audience in their
interests, social media, bands, and fashions. However, it is
important to remember that these are polysemic, they do not
fully represent 1 social group, as many people can dress this
was and have completely different interests, similarly, people
can have the same interests but a different fashion
