WORK EXPERIENCE Westminster Choir College Student Teaching (Fall 2014) Taught classroom music to students grades 6 8 in a supervised student teaching. Created listening lessons that engaged children in active listening. Lesson content aligned with the National Standards for Music Education. Assisted with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade choirs and conducted on the December holiday concert. Developed choral warm-ups that addressed choral and vocal issues throughout the repertoire while encouraging good vocal technique for full chorus and sectional rehearsals with piano accompaniment.
