RESUME DOWNLOAD using IDM

[for Windows]

Some web hosting like Putlocker, Sockshare, Sharebeast, Indowebster, dan Youtube, have
resume download capability for pause and resume download. This feature give user control to
resume their download if the disconnect occur and the download not complete yet.



Look at download box in IDM, you will see Resume capability", and if "Yes" means it
resumeable.
But sometimes want to resume, an error will appear. Just ignore by Close[X] it.

1. try to open the download address. If u remember, go to STEP 3. If not, move on to step 2.

2. Open IDM > right click disconnected download > properties.





In the red circle is the link that we want. Copy it. But do not close it.
Open firefox (or other browser) > paste > enter.
3. Download as usual, but DO NOT CLICK START DOWNLOAD



Copy link in the red circle > cancel download.
4. open IDM as in step 2.
Delete address in the red circle.






Paste URL in step 3 in address box.
Click OK
5. Still in IDM, > right click the file we want resume download > click "Resume download"



If successful, resume download at the disconnected point (not from earlier)
