Let Us Play A Game First....

This document outlines the rules for a classroom game involving student participation and engagement. The game includes 5 parts: 1) an attention getter where students respond "yes" when the teacher says "class", 2) a whole brain developer where students say "ok" when the teacher says "teach" with hand gestures, 3) an involvement part where students switch partners and teach each other with gestures, 4) a motivator where students cheer or groan depending on their prompt response and attention, and 5) a focuser where students clasp their hands, cross their legs, and look at the teacher for undivided attention. The game is meant to engage students through call-and-response cues and partner activities.
