    Presidents Message

    Happy Alpha Delta Kappa Month! I hope everyone is good and
    getting excited for fall even though its not very cool yet. We can
    only hope. The Dinner in a Jar Party was a huge success! We
    made 6 soups and 6 gingerbread pancake mixes then a number of us
    went to Chuys for dinner.


    DUES
    Remember to bring your check book to the September meeting.
    $65 dues will be gladly accepted.



    Alpha Delta Kappa's 2014-2015 World Understanding project is
    Books on the Move!

    Books on the Move is a literacy initiative that will bring the world
    of reading to the members of the Cheyenne River Lakota/Sioux
    Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
    This project will fund the purchase of a bookmobile, two
    computers, scanning equipment, books and resource materials.
    Vehicle maintenance, insurance and gas will also be provided for
    one year.

    Kappa learn how our organization worksits structure and
    historyas well as the way we learn about our altruistic
    endeavors, our Bylaws and our policies.

    International dues paid by
    member to chapter treasurer:
    $26.00 dues
    Includes $1.00 dues donation to
    the Alpha Delta Kappa
    Foundation
    $9.00 publication fee
    Each chapter pays the
    annual $20.00 fee for
    the International
    Teacher Education
    fund.
    A chapter or
    state/province/nation
    pays the $9.00
    publication fee for its
    honorary member(s).
