The Malaysian Food Tasting Event was held on May 23rd, 2014 from 10am to 2pm in the MU Quad at an estimated cost of $42 for rental space. The event aimed to share different types of Malaysian food including Cekodok, Durian, Air Sirap, Roti Canai with Curry, and Mee Siam. A survey of attendees found Cekodok and Durian to be the most popular foods. Future goals for the Malaysian Student Association included additional cultural events, guest speakers, and collaborations with other Malaysian student groups.

Goals: Set/build concrete foundation for MYSA to ease the planning of future activities and to train its members to be capable leaders for the future. To be able to nurture our relationship with resources within OSU and outside OSU, such as ISOSU, SEAC, Tourism Malaysia, Malaysian Embassy, Education Malaysia LA, and Ministry of Education Malaysia etc.
