Teach led lesson, whole class discussion (brainstorming) and individual
student working.
Resources/Materials:
Narrative planner.
Narrative checklist.
Narrative rubric.

Learning Experiences:
1. Inform students the following will be writing their narrative. And that
the research that we were doing in previous lessons will form their
own narrative on an immigrants/refugees journey to Australia.
2. Teacher to go through each sheet, after they have been handed out.
3. Class brainstorming of ideas (setting, character etc).
4. Students are able to start working on ideas and to write these on
required sheet and referring to their research information.
5. Once students have done this, they are able to start their narrative.
