Output: Input Devices

Output devices communicate the results of data processing to users in a human-readable form, such as monitors to display information, printers to print it, and speakers to play audio. Input devices provide data and control signals to processing systems, including keyboards for text entry, mice and touchpads to control displays, and scanners to digitize physical documents. Storage devices such as hard drives, flash drives, and CDs/DVDs hold information for later retrieval and processing by the CPU, which is the central component that performs calculations and operations on input data.

Output

1. An output device is any piece of computer hardware equipment used to

communicate the results of data processing carried out by an information processing
system (such as a computer) which converts the electronically generated information
into human-readable form.
2. Monitors, Projectors, Printers, Speakers, Headphones, Ploters, DVD writers, Faxes.

Input devices
In computing, an input device is a peripheral (piece of computer hardware equipment) used to
provide data and control signals to aninformation processing system such as a computer or
other information appliance. Whether the input is direct or indirect. With direct input, the input
space coincides with the display space, i.e. pointing is done in the space where visual feedback
or the pointer appears

storage devices
A storage device may hold information, process information, or both. A device that only holds
information is a recording medium. Devices that process information (data storage equipment)
may either access a separate portable (removable) recording medium or a permanent
component to store and retrieve information. Many data storage devices are also media players.
Any device that can store and playback multimedia may also be considered a media player such
as in the case with the HD media player. Designated hard drives are used to play saved
or streaming media on home cinemas or home theater PCs.

Processing
he CPU which is responsible for the processing and control of all the data flowing into, out of and
around the system.
The processing hardware in a computer is accountable for storing and retrieving information.
This information is processed using the Central Processing Unit (CPU). This part of the computer
takes information that is inputted by the user and processes the information by calculating,
comparing and copying it and is then saved to the computer's memory (RAM) Random Access
Memory.
Examples of computer processing devices include the central processing unit,
motherboard and memory of a computer. These devices are responsible for storing and
retrieving information.
