Dear Vendor:

The Springfield-Decatur Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. dedicates its 19
th
Annual Pre-Kwanzaa
Holiday Expo to the Kwanzaa spirit of UJAMAA. This principle of cooperative economics encourages us to build and
maintain our own businesses and to support each other to obtain the optimal profit.

This Pre-Kwanzaa Holiday Expo is being organized to provide an opportunity for minority business owners to display,
advertise and sell their goods and services. The community will be invited to purchase goods and services, and to enjoy
local talent and entertainment. We have maintained an earlier date to allow shoppers to kick-off the holiday shopping
season and beat the Black Friday rush. Additionally, a rapid return discount of $5.00 will be given to any registrations
postmarked on or before September 27, 2014.

PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES
EVENT DATE: Saturday, November 22, 2014
THEME: Supporting Economic Development and Celebrating the Arts
SET-UP: Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
EVENT TIME: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
LOCATION: The Eagles Club, 2700 East Ash Street, Springfield, IL 62703
1. Please return the completed registration form postmarked no later than November 8, 2014 to avoid the
Late/On-Site registration fee. A $5.00 discount is available for rapid return, which is all registrations postmarked
on or before September 27, 2014.
2. Only one vendor per booth space.
3. One company representative must be present throughout the duration of the Expo at the booth.
4. Table(s) and table cover(s) will be provided in accordance with your registration. Each additional table rental is
$25.00. Additional table(s) must fit within the allowed space.
5. The entire payment must accompany your completed registration form. Please remember to include the cost
for additional tables.
6. We will not provide telephone hook-ups, extension cords or WIFI of any kind.
7. Any vendor planning to sell food must contact Jeanette or Nicola (contact information in 10) prior to
registration.
8. Any vendor planning to sell Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. merchandise of any kind MUST be a certified vendor
on the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. APPROVED VENDOR LIST.
9. Please make check or money order payable to Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and mail with completed
