LETTS LETTER

Upcoming Dates:
~ August 25-Curriculum Night 6:00 (I
strongly advise everyone to come)
~September 1- Labor Day (NO SCHOOL)
~September 12- All Pro Dads 6:30 am in
MPR
~September 19- Picture Day
~September 23- Rocket Run Pep Rally

What did we learn this week?
Reading: We have been learning about why
we are special. Our sight word for the
week was I. We learned about letters A-H.
Math: We learned about number 1-5. We
explored cubes, patter blocks, color tiles,
and legos.
Discovery: We finished learning about
each other. We also learned about the
primary colors.

Next week:
Reading: Letters: I-R
Sight word: can
Math: Numbers 6-10
Discovery: Community Helpers
*Please help your child with these
letters/sounds, sight words, and numbers.

Community Helper Unit
Next week we are beginning our unit on
Community Helpers for our
Discovery/Social Science time. If you
would like to come talk about your
career (i.e. doctor, nurse, firefighter,
etc.) let me know!

Daily Behavior Folder
Everyday your child will bring home a
RED behavior folder. You are to initial it
every day and return it to school. This
will let you know how your childs day has
been. If you have questions please e-mail
or call me.

Homework
Each day we are working on
different letters. In class we do the front
of the worksheet. At home please do the
back of the worksheet. Send them back
so I can check them and put a sticker on
them. This will help your child learn how
to form the letters correctly!

*Please clean out your childs folder
EVERY DAY!
