Grading Policy
90-100: A
80-89: B
70-79: C

participation count for the remaining 30%.
Attendance
I cannot stress enough the importance of attendance in this class. Each lesson builds on the
previous lesson, and keeping up with the instruction as well as the homework is crucial for
success. The attendance policy is outlined in the student handbook. Please let me know if you
will be out so that we can work together to keep you on track in this course.
Make-up Work
If you are out unexpectedly and need to make up the work from the day(s) missed, look for
your work in the make-up bin immediately upon returning to class. This work may be accepted
the next day for credit at my discretion.
Late Work
Late homework assignments may be accepted for a maximum of 50% credit once you have
spoken with me regarding the situation.

Remember, my goal is to set you up for success, but you are ultimately in control of that
success. Lets have a great year!
