Structure is a connected system of members designed
to support loads safely or transfer forces effectively.
The analysis of structures involves analyzing the
equilibrium of the entire structure, part of the structure , or
an individual member.
In use types of problems, we shall determine the external
reactions as well as the external forces in the members.
The internal forces are the forces within the members
responsible for holding the structure together.
To know the forces and loads
To know the strength of the structure
To know the materials used
To know the flexibility of an object
To find gradient of an object
EXTERNAL FORCE
The external forces include the weight, the
externally applied forces on the structure
and the reaction from the support.
INTERNAL FORCE
The internal forces are the
forces inside the structural
members and are responsible
for holding the structure
together.
TYPE OF TRUSSES
PRATT TRUSS.
FINK TRUSS.
HOWE TRUSS.
Person is cross bridge A as route to bridge B
There is a crocodile in river
There is left and right banana trees
A man is running above bridge while looking towards alligator that
is in river
A man is running with bridge state that unstable due to alligatorthat
is looking in river
Distance bridge A to bridge B
Stability of bridge
Bending moment
flexibility of an object depends on the thickness of the
structures used
the slope and deflection due to bending
Know the strength of the structure through which the
load borne
Long distance bridge causes bending
The force produced by the object acts as a surface
