Migrating Secure Storage Information

1. Login to SAP client 000 and run tcode SECSTORE. Leave default settings and click Execute.

2. Check entries in red to determine if new secure storage migration needs to be installed.


3. Login to Service Marketplace and go to Keys & Requests Migration Keys

4. Go to Migration Key for the Secures Storage section and click Request Migration Key


5. Enter the requested information (old installation number, new installation number, target SID)
as shown below and click Create Key

6. Go back to SECSTORE and go to System Data Changed tab


7. Enter the old installation number and the migration key obtained from SAP Service
Marketplace and click Execute

8. Verify if all the entries have green status.


9. For further checks, login to productive clients and run SECSTORE again to verify status of
other client dependent password entries.
