1.Compute thesample statistics(mean, standard deviation, and five-number summary) for each of the two samples your group selected. 2. Create aFrequency Histogramand aBox Plotfor each sample. Submit copies of your four graphs. (Remember to label, etc! ) 3.Discuss the shapes of the distributions. Compare and contrast the results of the two samples with the population (treat the group work on the entire data set as if the entire data set is the population). Sample 1 Mean = 39.1 Standard Deviation = 29.7 Five number Summary: Min = 8 Q1 = 16 Q2 = 34 Q3 = 55 Max =115 Sample 2 Mean = 44.7 Standard Deviation = 28.9 Five number Summary: Min = 8 Q1 =20 Q2 = 45 Q3 = 68 Max = 115 3 There isn't much difference between the two samples. The shape and distripution are fairly similar. Compared the "population" which have a bigger range and the huge outlier of 177. There is also a big gap in the histogram of the "population." But the mean and standard deviation are not the different.
