Scope and Delimitations

This study examined using pulverized corn husks instead of starch to make biodegradable plastics, focusing on how long it takes for the plastic to decay and ways to increase its durability given the limited time frame. The researchers pulverized corn husks and used the powder to replace starch in biodegradable plastics, then tested how long it took the materials to degrade.

Scope and Delimitations

The researchers conducted a study about the effectiveness of corn husks as main component in
making biodegradable plastic. They pulverized the husks and used the powder produced in replacement
of starch that is most commonly used for biodegradable plastics.

The research is delimited to the time of decay of the biodegradable plastic and ways in making it
more durable due to the shortness of time span allotted.
